Bulldog Holidays, a bulldog-specialist kennels at Ifield Wood, charges £44.40 a day for one dog and £63.60 a day for two dogs from the same family, plus £24 for out-of-hours collection between 4pm and 8pm (its gates lock at 4pm otherwise). Go Barking, in Burgess Hill, charges from £32 a day for home boarding. We Love Pets Haywards Heath, a franchise branch, charges from £55 per 24 hours for home boarding, where your dog stays in the boarder's own house rather than a kennel run. Two businesses publish day-care prices. The Doghouse, on a 50-acre estate near East Grinstead, charges £42 a day for regular day care booked a month in advance, rising to £54 for an ad hoc booking. The Dogfather, in Bolney near Haywards Heath, charges from £31 a day and also offers a dog taxi pickup and drop-off service.

We Love Pets Haywards Heath is the only business here to publish prices beyond boarding: a dog walk from £22 an hour, a pet visit from £18, and house sitting from £96 per 24 hours.
